          2. Creating a Safe and Consistent Environment For many students, the bus is their first and last interaction of the school

          day. Consistency matters. Reliable routines provide emotional security Safe spaces encourage positive behavior Predictable expectations help students succeed That sense of stability can be life‑changing, especially for students who may not experience it elsewhere.

          3. Reinforcing Positive Behavior Transportation staff are often in a unique position to: Recognize good behavior Encourage kindness and patience De‑escalate conflicts Simple praise, clear boundaries, and fairness help students learn appropriate social behavior
